1% WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE - end of week 9

The road to hell is paved with good intention.

Cop this:

The week's experiment.

Can you lose weight eating spoonfuls of peanut butter?

Answer. No.

So a disappointing week. Sabotage.

I'm going away for a couple of weeks and will report back on the 25th of March.

We'll see.

In the meantime stay tuyned, highly tuned and keep your snout out of the peanut butter jar.

  1. Hi John, it's Caroline...
I'm up to week 3 now...
What a journey it's been. I went cold turkey off everything garb related...first 1.5 weeks was filled with excitement through a flurry of migraines as the weight dropped...could it really be this easy? Then with the onset of huge energy fluctuations week 2 finished with a further lost couple of kg's.
And so began week 3...I shall put week 3 down to a week of consolidation of new eating habits and keeping the weight I have lost off. There was no gob smacking weight loss this week - a terrible blow to me. Suddenly I felt like sabotaging because I had failed losing weight while sticking to my new diet ...ahh the downfall of wanting it all...wanting it now...
My friends set me straight & I survived week 3 by wearing my 'thin girl' jeans - the ones I used to wear when I thought that to diet you had to starve yourself....good grief - I know better now!!
I did manage to lose another 0.5kg to make it 7kg for the first 3 weeks...sooo excitement!!
BTW I started at 93 so am settle dnicely now well under 90!! I'm aiming for 70kg - why, because that is roughly the body weight of male Olympian dressage/eventing riders. With a build like mine I'm not even going to pretend anything under 70 is feasible, but hey, if it happens, I'll gratefully accept.
So to end, I will quote from my mantra this week...nothing tastes as good as thin feels :)
    Hourglass Diet rocks!!!
